Senior Conveyancer / Team Leader


As a Senior Conveyancer you will reporting to the Head of Department.  Responsibilities of this role include effectively providing line management, supervision and ensuring high performing workstreams.  Whilst running a small caseload of more complex matters you will be tasked with answering general legal questions and queries from clients and team members as a senior person in the department.  Previous experience managing a small team or having current aspirations to move into a management role are preferable. The successful candidate will be expected to balance commercial considerations with risks, offering balanced and bespoke advice whilst offering excellent communication and organisational skills at all levels.  A minimum two years PQE as a Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer are essential, along with an extensive background in conveyancing.  In return, you will receive a lucrative package including a very heathy salary and holiday allowance, pension scheme membership, paid volunteer leave, reduced or free legal fees, death in service cover and fantastic learning and development opportunities.  This role will allow you to have a real say in how the team and department move forward with other internally recognisable positions available to run alongside this role.

Conveyancing Legal Assistant


We are currently looking to recruit a talented Conveyancing Legal Assistant. You will play an integral part of our growing and very successful team providing exceptional levels of customer service to our lawyers and clients ensuring a successful and smooth transaction.  Responsibilities include file opening and initial correspondence with clients and solicitors on the other side of the transaction, producing first drafts of legal forms, post completion duties, dealing with completion and liaising with clients, agents and other solicitors. This role will suit someone who has considerable experience gained from working in a property team in a law firm.  You will possess exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and stay calm under pressure. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, as well as being a great communicator and a confident telephone manner to engage with our clients is required.  Hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:00.  In return we offer a competitive basic salary plus discretionary annual bonus scheme, great holiday entitlement (including the festive period off with no requirement to use allowance) and more!

Client Enquiry Specialist


We are looking to add to our Sales Team, a Client Enquiry Specialist.  The role is a varied one with the main responsibilities being to assist new clients with their initial enquiry, quote creation and answering any queries they may have along the way.  Data analysis and regular reporting form the other parts of this exciting role.  The successful candidate should have a reasonable understanding of the conveyancing process with particular knowledge of common queries when discussing a conveyancing quote.  We would welcome applicants that have a conveyancing background but are looking at another area of the sector.  This is an office-based role positioned in Benfleet.
